if you need something extraordinary in your Joomla website, you should hire the services of dedicated Joomla developers who make customized websites as per your requirements and budget. Moreover, in case you need to launch a high end business product or service and you are bound by time limitations, outsourcing your E-commerce website development to a Joomla web development company is the best possible way to make your E-commerce website development campaign a grand success.
Now I know that there are lots of open sources when it comes to CMS and they comply with a specific niche wherein a specific CMS will be fit on it. Well for me the best CMS so far is Wordpress but I will still try on the other CMS to know what they are capable to do.

@website builder: If it's a technology website, I suggest that you use Joomla or Wordpress for it.

Thanks for the review, however I missed one very important cms: WebAPP from http://www.web-app.net

The multilingual, Perl CMS from WebAPP is written in genuine Perl, and I hope next time you make a review you both evaluate it and other genuine Perl CMS, as you know PHP is just a spinoff Perl script...

Thanks for the resource! I'm so torn between DotNetNuke and Joomla mainly because the modules/components/mambots for Joomla seem to be of questionable quality. The ones I've seen for DotNetNuke seem like they've come a long way since 1.x and look very professional (mostly the commercial ones). And the other reason being that I'm an ASP.NET developer and I have very little desire to learn PHP. Anyway, I look forward to your follow-up post.
