I want to upgrade to a paid HootSuite account, but I'm finding the reliability to be lacking, I only get it to work about 70% of the time across any type of browser on my mac. Now I find myself double checking all the streams just discover that it isn't posting to my selected accounts. On the day's it works, it's awesome.

Thanks for the thorough review and endorsement of HootSuite - we are working daily to add features, refinements and awesomeness.

Bear in mind you can turn off the Ow.ly bar with a single click and we are considering other ways to integrate URL shortening. In the meantime, you can paste your preferred shortened URLs into your message window.

Also, along with the web version, HootSuite is available in 3 flavors of desktop apps - Chrome, Fluid and Prism. Give a try and let us know how it goes.
